The first time I came here I think I came after they had a busy rush or something because the girl who helped me looked like a mess and was about to go crazy, but she was still super sweet and helped me down the entire line. I asked for her name and I completely forgot it but she said it rhymed with Subway or something. I came back again and got to talk to her even more because no one was here. I loved the whole interaction it totally made my whole day. This place is so underrated I love it so much. Everything tastes so fresh and delicious. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting to have a quick lunch.

One of my favorite spots in GR! The owner is so nice and recognizes me every time I go. Food is top tier. Ingredients are always super fresh.

I was attending a convention in downtown Grand Rapids and the food service inside the event isn't necessarily bad, but it's like going to a sports arena, $9 pizza slices and $5 bottles of water-type stuff. I slipped out at lunch time and found this place just a block or so away. No crowds, good food, fast, and a big portion for what it costs. I might have gotten a limp hot dog and a basket of soggy french fries for what I paid for this delicious poke. The atmosphere was really pretty good- super clean, bright. Strongly recommend if you visit downtown.

THE ONLY POKE SPOT WORTHWHILE IN GR!!!! This place is amazing. Owner is a super pleasant guy and his dedication to his craft is high!! I got the chefs special (sweet & savory) and was blown away. I’ve had poke all over the US as well as Hawaii and this one competes with the best. 👌🏼 COME SUPPORT THIS PLACE!

Oh my gosh. Genuinely incredible. I was looking for a place to treat myself after an appointment, and stumbled upon this place. INCREDIBLE quality food, INCREDIBLE service, and a cozy atmosphere. Price-wise? I would say absolutely perfect. As a college student, it’s a bit pricier than an every day meal (I paid about $15 for the poke bowl pictured) but in no way is this overpriced for the food I received. I pay the exact same price for poke bowls near my college campus, and those poke bowls have less variety and honestly less quality ingredients. This is such a wonderful find, and I WILL be back. I was honestly a little overwhelmed when I first walked in, as it’s such a cozy place but there was maybe one other customer inside, and I felt like I should know what I wanted immediately—but the staff was incredibly kind and patient!! I’m so happy to have found this place!!
